Bland Manual

I'm sorry if this in the wrong place, but I didn't want to disrupt the productive forums going on in the general forum.

Anyone else notice a particular lack of pictures in "the game" section of the manual? I know its trivial, but I recall there always being pictures of the game piece/field throughout to help explain the way the game is played. I realize these pictures are not really necessary, and that it might be to help save ink for all the manuals that get printed around the world...but I kind of miss the pictures. Anyone else miss the pictures?

Honestly, I just didn't notice. Didn't miss images this year. The words seem to be enough for me.

I think the animations poison teams and members (especially young ones) enough with preconceived notions. The lack of pictures allows readers to let their imaginations and creativity go free.

Same. I had to check past manuals after reading this thread before I even noticed the change.

I also agree with Taylor. It lends more to the imagination.

I didn't notice either, although I could have used more examples in the scoring section. Text would have been sufficient, though.
