Minibot Question

Does the minibot have 10 seconds to deploy AND move up the tower? Or is there a small period of time when the minibot may be deployed, and then has 10 seconds to move up the tower?

-Does anybody know? Please and thank you!

::rtm::

The endgame is 10 seconds long. You may only deploy in the endgame.

Re: Minibot Question

You don't even necessarily have the full 10 seconds. If you want to win the race, you really only have as long as the next-fastest minibot takes to reach the top of its tower.

Can the minibot be made out of VEX parts and motors?

Re: Minibot Question

Jaginator, please read the rules. It is very explicitly spelled out regarding what you can use to build the minibot.

I have read it carefully and there is still a lot of confusion

Re: Minibot Question

Take a look at <R-92>. It's an explicit list of allowed parts for the Minibot.

Re: Minibot Question

Those are the ONLY parts usable... wow FIRST seems to have some grudge against VEX they wont even allow in FTC

Re: Minibot Question

You can't use VEX parts and TETRIX it's allready out of stock. Were FRC teams can buy TETRIX components?
