Robot Configuration (Team Update #1)

As everyone can see. Team Update #1 change the Robot Playing Configuration from 60'' to 84''. And i read a lot of posts that suggested the robot now could be 28*38*84, but my team do not agree with this point.

R11 stated that (During the MATCH, the ROBOT may not exceed the volume constraints of either STARTING or PLAYING CONFIGURATIONS (note: these limits are defined in reference to the ROBOT, not the FIELD).)

And following the Playing Configuration, it stated that (84” (213.4cm) diameter vertical right cylindrical volume)

Our interpretation is that if we look at the robot 2D, the diameter of the circle that covers the robot should be no bigger than 84'', at anytime during the game.

We think that this still means at the beginning of the match, the robot has to fit into a 28'' by 38'' by 60 '' envelope. This also explains why after the Playing Configuration, under max height it has N/A.

Is our interpretation of the rule correct..? Or the update means that our robot can go up to 84'' ..?

Thanks

My interpretation of the rules are the same as yours, assuming you meant 38" instead of 32".
