Robot contact with Ubertube at end of Autonomous?

If the robot's pinchers or gripping mechanism still have contact with an ubertube that is on a peg when the Autonomous period ends, will the points still be given? That is, if the peg was actually hanging already, it just hadn't been fully released?

By definition, a tube isn't HANGING until it is released.
