We put the new line tracking sensors on last years bot and they seem to be working well. Hopefully they will work this well on th new bot.

Sweet!

Does it ever get lost?

Here's BOB 319 driving to a target using vision:

I found that my system tends to get false positives of being at target every once in a while, its those darn strips on the bottom and top of the target.

I was curious if the line trackers has similar kinds of issues. I could see the robot just wandering off.

I'm also interested in knowing how far apart your sensors were. We just got ours hooked up and just need to figure out how far apart they need to be, but I guess that really depends on how exact you want to be on the line right?

I think you have to spend a bit of time with trial and error to find the best way to effectively use the tracking lines.
