Wedgetop or Roughtop Tread

What are the Pros and Cons of wedgetop and roughtop treads? which do you think is better and why?

If I recall correctly from 2008, I believe they both tear up the carpet equally well.
Use them carefully.

It depends on what you're using it for. I assume this question derives its origin from your team wondering which to buy for a specific application, so my question to you is, what are you planning to use them for?

For a 6WD. They are going to be used on our robot base/chassis.
