Fundraising for a team in Germany
 

FRC #3011, here in Wiesbaden, Germany is now in our third year of FIRST. We no longer qualify as 'rookies' for the NASA grants and are now searching for fundraising and sponsorship ideas. I have read through most of the info posted and it usually refers to companies and organizations in your community. We are military families assigned here in Germany ... our community consists of the Army, Air Force and military contractors. We receive great support and mentorship from the Army Corp of Engineers and DoD civilian employees. Our local VFW does all it can to support us with funding. But as you can imagine, it's just not enough to get the team from here to the states to compete. We are searching for sponsors or grants that are not tied to the community or state you live in ... or ideas that would work in a very small community. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
