Fetch,Throw,Fetch,Throw, ect..
Is 20ft a good average range to throw? Consistently 20ft as of now. We have room to improve also. The only issue we are is making/mounting our device to a platform and being able to rotate. This may not be necessary anyway with 0 degree turning.

Any chance we could get a video? I really wanted to try this out but eventually we decided we wouldnt have the weight and still be able to accomplish everything else...

20ft is a pretty impressive range. I would say that ideal would be the ability to throw from within your lane and hit your scoring area. However I haven't looked at the drawings to find that distance.

20 feet isn't that far, duke461 has been able to throw the square almost 30 feet (well done duke). For the record the square flies best, followed by the circle, and then the triangle.

Why turret your device when you could spin your robot?
You need to be able to throw from the tip of the driving lane to the tip of the protected zone to be a truly great robot, IMO |
