Custom Dashboard Data
 

I've been looking at the LabView VIs for sending and receiving dashboard data and I have a few questions for anyone with experience.
In order to send data that is not a direct input or output (like the ones already sent to the dashboard), what is the best way to send? Do I need to make another case so it sends new data on times 24 and 49 or something like that? Also, what all needs to be modified to send new data?
I'm thinking of sending target info, wheel position/speeds, and other state information.
I can provide more information if necessary (I'm at a loss on where to begin and I really don't want to dig myself into a hole by changing the wrong things).

I won't go into details because I believe it explains it better, but you should start messing in Build Dashboard Data.vi.

also there is a tutorial above where you would find examples in the labview welcome screen although I do not know how effective it is
