"Motor Curves" document and RS775
**** Whoops- already covered- See Here: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...BaneBot+Motors ****
I am SO confused right now and I think I just confused myself even more over the course of writing this post. BaneBots has two RS775 motors listed on their website- an RS775-12 and RS775-18. One is 12V and one is 18V. The one we have been given in the KOP has a sticker on it that says RS775-18 18V. The "Motor Curves" document on the KOP website ( http://usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Rob...r%20Curves.pdf ) states the RS775 motor has an output of 83.05W. However, there was a flourescent piece of yellow paper that lists the specifications of each of the motors and the specifications on this paper do not support a maximum power of 83W for this motor. The flourescent paper has the part number for the RS775-18 and a note that says "all data at 12V". The BaneBot website under FIRST Related Producs lists the RS775-18. Can someone please tell me which one of the following scenarios is correct?? A) "Motor Curves" = wrong, yellow sheet = wrong, Motor decal = right - The motor supplied is an RS775-18 and conforms to banebot specs at: http://banebots.com/pc/FIRST/M7-RS775-18 B) "Motor Curves" = wrong, Yellow sheet = right, Motor decal = right- The motor supplied is an RS775-18 and conforms to specs on the yellow sheet but not on BaneBots site because specs are at 18V C) "Motor Curves" = right, Yellow sheet = wrong, Motor decal = wrong - The motor supplied is an RS775-12 and conforms to BaneBot web specs here: http://banebots.com/pc/MOTOR-BRUSH/M7-RS775-12 D) The RS775-18 is the same as the RS775-12 and the latter is simply showing data at 12V in which case the website, yellow sheet and "motor curves" data is all wrong! I would say that what has likely happened is (B) that "Motor Curves" has mistakenly put up data for the RS775-12. In which case this needs an update. Could someone please clear this up? What is the maximum power of the supplied RS775 at 12V?? |
