actually, sean does just eat food...he sometimes comes up with good idea.

but on a serious note, the robot is very very much designed by students. the mentors on 2415 like to relax, eat food, and play soccer inside.

YESSSSSS i want throbbing LEDS

Second the "yes!!!"

It looks great! My team is using a 2-stage elevator with a continuous chain loop for VEX Round-Up, and it works like magic! Hope it works for your team, too!

Is the structure attached to the front of the elevator a tube manipulator? If so, how exactly does it work? Thanks!

Yes!

How does your mini-bot deployment system work? Does the mini-bot just sit on top there or is it something a bit more complex?

Pretty much the only reason I joined 2415 was for the support of my bookclub. What can I say...after all these years of actually helping design and build it feels so nice to be able to sit back in a big comfy chair and put my feet up while reading a good manly book.

Sean, the CD community might be fooled, but I am not.

There are NO book clubs at tech. Hell, we play video games in English class, and you expect me to believe a book club. You sir, cannot put the metaphorical book over my eyes.

In all honesty, Sean is a great mentor and has aided us this year greatly in conceptual designs and helping with fixing certain issues. That being said, the actual cad was done almost entirely by the students of 2415. It brings 1 lonely tear to my eye when I think about how this is my last year as a mentor for these kids. to see the progress they have made is amazing over these years.
I for one as a mentor do actually only come for comedic relief, the free food (broke college kid), and because I know I can serve as a spiritual guide/father figure to these students. And because they need someone there to make sure they don't chop their hands off. And to keep Sean and Andrew company on these cold winter nights.

-one lonely tear.

That looks really good... as one of the other mentors on our team said, "Wow!! this is way too close to what we are building...."

With any luck, we'll have construction finished in another week and a half :)

Very impressive.
Cant wait to see it come to fruition and see a demo of it.

Looks like you got all bases covered.
