Superman vs. Goku
 

My question is this: who would win in a fist fight? Goku gets his super saiyan forms (as it contributes to brute strength), but no other powers allowed for either of them. No taking into account Superman's kryptonite weakness, as that would just be lame. Also, state why.

I personaly go for Goku. Right about SS2, I would say he's getting very close in strength, if not his equal. Even with equal strength, he has actual martial arts prowess, and has experience with fighting others of equal strength. The only experience Superman has in that respect is with Bizarro, and even that was just a straight slug-match. Goku wins, in my opinion.

Ah, Dragon Ball Z, the cartoon our generation grew up with. I feel bad for kids these days who have to watch the random nonsense cartoon network has these days.

Goku, hands down.

Unless all of that flashy animation is laced with Kryptonite, it's for naught. So while Goku is a more dynamic character, Superman would win the fight.

Gawd I hated Dragonball Z (and I wasn't crazy about Superman either).
Thank God for the internet. I can get my anime fix there (watching Canaan and Bakemonogatari recently).
I guess if I had to pick one I'd say Goku.

Had this argument in class a few weeks ago (yeah, we're nerds, we know). Near-even split, but I think Goku had a slight advantage.

-I would have to go for Goku. He's a bit more less (as my friends put it) "cheesy". I mean superman can probably fight but I don't think that Goku would actually have any bruises or anything to show on him, since he is a cartoon & superman is an actual person. But superman is sort of like a regular person. But it's a good debate question. :D
