plaction wheels
Hello my team is brand new to using other wheels then the ones provided in the KOP and i was wondering, if we get 6in or 4in plaction wheels from andymark, would the sprocket fit on the wheel without any need to use additional hardware or do we have to buy an adaptor os some sort, it is also a posibility that we could also use a direct drive with them, we are also using the kop frame. If you have any comments good or bad please post.

Re: plaction wheels
Yes, they will work fine.
You will need spacers. It may be easier for your team to machine its own, though. For future reference, look at the bolt circles of the wheel, sprocket, and spacer to see if they will match up. The ones from the KOP use 1.875in bolt circles, as do those spacers and all of AM's Plaction wheels. |

Re: plaction wheels
I am not sure if I understand the last part of your question... do you think you can clarify it a bit?
The spacer is only a quarter inch thick. It is not designed to be cut down the middle. You will need to have one spacer per side if you want the wheel to have two sprockets. Are you using four wheels on your drive train? |
Re: plaction wheels
You only need the spacer if you are using 22 tooth Sprocket with 35 chain or 32 tooth sprocket with 25 chain. Otherwise i don't believe you will need the spacer.
