Team 1683 Base
 

Hi Everyone, I am the Mechanical team captain of Team 1683, Techno Titans. This is our base so far (pictures taken in the beginning of the work session on Tuesday, 1/25/2011).

We used 1'' by 3'' 1/8'' thick aluminum tubings for the main frame, and 1'' by 3'' 1/4'' thick plate for the side. Inside the tubing, we blocks that drilled and taped on one side, and a through hole on the other side. The through hole hold the block in place in one tubing, and bolts through the other side. All the bolts that are going through the frame has a spacer inside the tube.
