This will be the first year since 2007 that I haven't gone to the Bayou regional. It's always a blast, hopefully they'll change the schedule back next year.

125 will be attending our first ever Bayou Regional.

We're excited to head down south! Sorry no pictures yet, you'll have to wait a week or so on those.

3411 will be the only Memphis-area team going to Bayou this year. Everyone else is going to Smokey Mountain.

Rookie team 3606 (Baton Rouge) will be at the Bayou Regional.
Although, am a bit disheartend about the lack of current information on the Bayou Regional website. Most of the information is for 2010.

Yeah, we all are. They usually don't update the website itself until after the regional. Just go to FIRST's regionals website and use their data. I would, however, expect an update of the Bayou website in the upcoming weeks.

Yup the NUTRONS will be there. We will also be staying through Sunday and leaving on Monday. What should we go see/do?

I don't think anyone has mentioned/noticed this, but despite this being a week 3 event, it will be the first official event for every team, which makes the playing field a bit more equal.

URGENT:

Because of a shipping misshape we have been left without one of the new Viair air compressors. If any rookie team that is attending the Bayou Regional is not using the compressor please let me know, we would love to borrow it. Or if any teams have an extra we would also love to borrow it.

CorpralChee - 2080 does not have an extra air compressor that we can lend you, however if you need any kind of help or other parts, let us know!

2992 possibly MAY have a Viair compressor and extra 775's, but I can't promise anything. We won't know if we're going to use the 775's on the forklift until we test it with them Thursday morning, and we won't know if we need the little compressor until we get everything set up and ready for inspection and weigh in. We were right at 120 pounds when shipped, but we've changed a few things on the claw and minibot system since then. If we do use the 775's on the lift we'll need the little compressor to be under 120 pounds.
