"It just lacks finishing."
The last 20% takes 80% of the time. Beware.

I was going to join you in celebration, but it seems you have exhausted the supply of exclamation points. Now I can only ask questions or make statements.

So your robot is done except for the parts that make it different than any box on wheels?

Blunt, yes, and I'm glad you guys are proud of where you are, but delusions of grandeur in getting a drivetrain running 2 weeks before ship aren't healthy.

I'm surprised JVN didn't mention that "done" is a 4 letter word.

Congrats!

We have the whole manipulator thingy on our robot finally, eagerly awaiting working code so we can see what we have to redesign :)

System 1 is undergoing changes, though it's been done for a while. Design is iterative after all. Subsystem 4 is done, whereas subsystems 3 and 7 still require manufacture (Together, system 2). We've been working hard! Subsystems 5 and 6... Let's not even talk about subsystems 5 and 6.

Hey look, it reads like a JVN blog post. :P
But really, that is our current progress.
I'm excited.
