Placing Robot on Field

Where on the field can we place the robot? Could we place the robot so its lined up with one of the track lines?

This information is specifically covered in the Competition Manual. If you have a specific question regarding the wording of the rules, don't hesitate to ask.

Take a look at <G04>. That's your only alignment rule. Satisfy that, and you're good.

I could, but you wouldn't learn as much. The Competition Manual is critical to read and understand in order to make your competition weekend a pleasant one instead of an agonizing, stressful one.

Eric has gone ahead and given you the specific rule number to look up. The G refers to the "The Game" section of the manual which can be found on the FIRST site. If you spend more than 10 minutes looking for it I would be willing to link you to it.

We are reluctant to deprive you of the experience of learning how to do your own research.
