1771 manipulator test video

We are still waiting on our Banebots motors and gearboxes, but we had some older units, with the wrong ratio and tried out the manipulator with those. It worked as well as expected.:)

Good job Martin and crew! Looks almost identical to ours.

Are you guys planning on picking up off the floor or just the loading station?

cool beans! wonder if the upper and lower parts could be hinged and sprung so it can easily deal with smaller (underinflated) tubes?

not that we've ever had any issues with game piece inflation :yikes:

Yeah, we finally got SOMETHING to start working.

Too bad we smoked a motor doing this.

Wow, this is legitimately legit.

It doesn't look like your claw is compressing them much, and your tubes look very well inflated. I'm being the guy who asks about deflated tubes, but how your mechanism handle tubes with not as much air?

Actually, the tubes we were using were not quite fully inflated.

If a tube is popped/no air, we won't be able to pick it up.

Thanks Sean,

We have a plan for floor pick-up, not sure if we will implement it. Depends on time and weight budget.
