Oober tube during teleoperated period

Can you intentionally leave an oober tube anywhere on the game field with the exception of not entering the opposing alliance's zone during the teleoperated period?

i haven't read anything in the rules about that. But i think you you can drop it and push them around.

Me and my mentor were sitting here talking. "there's no point. they don't mean any thing but they can be used for defense." (Me)" yeah but wat if you cant get down there."(Him) " just leave it alone."

What is an "oober" tube? I don't see any mention of it in the Manual. ;)

Yeah, you can do whatever you like with them, other than score them or enter an opponent's zone or lane.

An uber tube could be placed possibly to become an obstacle, but a white logo piece can easily replace that since the manual reports the only difference is color. Since there is a high chance you are not going to score 6 white logo tubes, you have enough of a supply to use those.
