Why is there no other competiton TBA?

So I was going to put a team badge in my status just like all the FRC teams out there but then when I went and typed in my FTC team number 3041 URSA MAJOR in New Jersey all that I got was the 3041 SPARTANators in California.

So I was wondering why there is not a website for the other types of competitions like VEX or FTC? I understand that these competitions are not as big as the FRC one is but we are still deserving in our own right. Vex works year round to their competitions for the next year is released the day of the world championship match. FTC works from September until April so its not like there is not enough competition to get a badge that keeps track of a teams record.

Can someone please give me some insight on why there is not a website that records the other robotics competitions out there?

TBA is a volunteer effort. Vex and FTC do not have volunteers willing to do what the TBA team has done.

Complaining that you don't have a website for this purpose is just having too strong of a sense of entitlement. Make it yourself if you really need it so badly.

I believe that local and national FIRST.ORGs have decent records of FTC events along with FRC events (These records however, do not contain some of the collective information about team records over the years or their annual average or total records). I have no clue whatsoever about VEX records. FLL... nearly 20,000 teams and four scores for each... not including the awards and multiple tiers of competition... bad idea from an information logistics standpoint.

If there are central FTC and VEX equivelants to The Blue Alliance it would be a wonderful discovery to this community!

{For those thinking it: Is it not hard enough for these guys (The Blue Alliance) to program for and keep track of 2070 FRC teams, let alone another 1500 FTC teams, and who knows how many other VEX teams!? TBA please stay the way you are (Perfect!) and dont worry about FTC and VEX... let someone else worry about those!:p }

Also, remember that the point of The Blue Alliance is not to record the records, but the provide a place to show all the match videos. I'm not sure there is quite the demand to watch match videos of FLL and FTC matchs.

As Picone said, no one has made one yet.

But that is only part of it. FRC has match data stored online, the FMS automatically reports to FIRST's servers and instantly updates the webpage data. FTC does not seem to do this. You can't pull yearly records about performance or even pull data about WHO was at an event.

Compare https://my.usfirst.org/myarea/index....6E7AImtK17D742

with any FTC event.

Notice the FRC event has standings and match results and team lists? Note how the FTC event doesn't? At the moment it is not possible to pull the data because the data is not publicly available.

As for VEX:http://robotevents.com/pan-pacific-v...ionship-1.html They don't seem to have much data either.

FLL is an entirely different beast because team numbers are not static like they are for FRC, each year you get a new number and this makes tracking them extremely difficult.

TL;DR - There is not conspiracy against FTC/FLL/VEX just the resources aren't there for people to pull from.

Thank you for the response and the GP. I was not complaining I was simply asking a question to see if there was one that I was unaware of. FTC and Vex both have an group of dedicated volunteers that seem not to get enough recognition as the FRC ones get because the 2 smaller competitions are just that they are smaller but not necessarily in numbers. Vex has 6 divisions at worlds this year a middle school division 4 high school divisions and a college division. Thank you all for showing me that there is not a website dedicated or caring enough to keep track of matches and rankings like TBA does for FRC.

To the editors and moderation of TBA this was not out there to ask you to change I love what you do its a nice website you run and I am on your page all the time I do thank you for your hard work and I greatly respect you

IIRC, someone was going to try to start one for FTC a few years ago. See if you can find anything on "The Red Alliance".
