Elmo? I thought it was more like a possessed version of Mickey Mouse. I was about to go find some D-con.

Sorry I jinxed your arm/auton that one round, by the way. You obviously got it together after that - fine showing by the Goats in TN!

Also, gotta say, if we hadn't been picked by 71, all three of the teams in your alliance were high on our list, starting with 1592 at the top.

The jinx was OK because our minibot worked!

1592 was great, with a little luck they easily could have been the #1 seed.

They will be a force to reckon with in St Louis.

Thanks for all the kind words. Our luck seemed to turn around by the end of SMR hopefully it will continue in St. Louis.

The regional was very well run, I would have never guessed it was a first year event. Congratulations to all teams who made it to eliminations those were some hard fought matches.

To 1741, 1519, and 451 absolutely no hard feelings. We have always enjoyed competing with and against 1741. We also made a great new friend in 1519 this weekend, it was a lot of fun running in qualifications with you guys and hopefully we can meet up again in St. Louis.

To 1592 and 829, we made for a very strong alliance. We were on edge of our seats when it came time to pick knowing our friend 829 was still left. Figuring out how to line up to score all three uber tubes only made this alliance even stronger. It was great working with both of you and we look forward to hopefully seeing you again this summer at IRI.

Thanks for the kind words, but as of right now we are not invited to St. Louis. Our Lead Mentor on the non-mechanical half of the team told us she received an email on Friday that we are so far down the waitlist that we were picked to be put on the short notice list for attending if some teams dropout real late. *crosses fingers* Hope we get invited.

That's a shame, we got the same email.

I don't think we will be able to accept a last minute invite :(

This regional did not seem like a rookie regional. I was lucky enough to be asked to drive coach 1747 over my spring break and I do not regret it at all. As others have said, more food options would be great, but that's the only real suggestion I can come up with.

I hope next year I can convince whatever team I will be involved with to attend this regional.

I want to thank 234/801 for having faith in us in the eliminations and choosing us to ally with them. It was an awesome alliance with awesome communication. I hope that I can work with these two teams in the future.

I also want to thank 234 mentors and Allison Babcock for helping us figure out our electrical and CAN issues.
