Team 3637's Finalized Scissor and Arm

We switched out the unreliable limit switches for a gyro and added the camera on the lift and we are now at our finalized state.

Looks good, I wasn't expecting any good scissor lifts, but you did it.

Looks nicely built, and very sturdy. Have you had any issues with stability or strain in the aluminum? We recently scrapped ours after watching a few of bars either warp or shear in half in a test.

Looking very nice! Can it pick up off of the floor?

Thanks! We have not had any issues, in this version. The bottom 4 linkages are made thicker than the other ones because they get the most force on them. But since that, no. It also uses 4 springs inbetween to help lift it. We had 3 in that video here but we added another one and its incredible the difference between 3 and 4 springs

Make protection for your electronics if you guys did not decide on it yet, even if it is against the rule to reach inside a robot's frame and touch it, would be bad if your electronics got destroyed somehow.

Robot look great, folks!

One thing I would suggest is to make your practice as close to a real game as possible. Have your drivers stand up to drive (they will have to stand at a regional). Also change where your drives are working compared to the scoring pegs (they should be behind them). Keep on practicing: Good drivers can make a good robot great!

Thanks for the suggestion. We do have protection for them, its just not on the robot there.

Thanks! Yeah we plan on doing that when we get back to our school which has more space. Currently its in a small workshop which has little to no room to drive the robot. Also we plan on standing behind the pegs at the school to. Thanks for the tips!

The growl is sure to scare off any other robots.
