2 days to my team - so many concerns
Hi CD,
On this night at 1 AM most of my team are going on a trip of a week which called 'Massa Israeli' (A trip around israel and the students identity...) The team members that left on the last week of building season are all new, I am going to this trip with big concerns, at least in the 2 last days of the build season we will be back from the trip. As for now the biggest challange the our new students have to solove (we have only 4) are: replacing the chasis because of low strenth fixing the gripper (from some reson it is closing more than it is oppening). and a lot of small task. I won't be on he CD for this week. I will get back next week:confused: |
Re: 2 days to my team - so many concerns
Could you try and set up a communication channel like VoIP programs(Skype e.g.), or MSN to supervise the new students while you are on your trip?

Re: 2 days to my team - so many concerns
I belive that no in most of the days, because we are traveling from the desert to the capital. We will be in contact by phone with the rest of the team, we know the robot so it won't be a problem I think to identify the what they don't know how to fix...
does any team manage to build the robot in 5 weeks? |
Re: 2 days to my team - so many concerns
There are a number of teams that have their robots completed in 4 or 5 weeks using the last week or two for practice and improvement.
3573 hopes to have our robot completed by Tuesday leaving a full week for code development and driver practice. |
Re: 2 days to my team - so many concerns
I would just in case create a priority list just in case you cannot finish everything important because of the missed days. You have already mentioned that the most important things are fixing the chassis and the gripper.
