Animation Submission Site not working
 

Is anyone else having problems trying to start the animation submission process on Feb 14th? Me and my team are going crazy so please help

Udit,

We had problems while using Google Chrome - the file would upload and then Flash would crash. We switched to IE with the latest version of Flash and it worked, though it takes a while after the initial upload (shows 100% uploaded and then spends an hour or so "Copying to server"). I recommend taking screen shots to prove that you attempted to upload but experienced problems, in case you can't get it in on time by 5 tomorrow. I also recommend emailing the first@autodesk.com explaining your problems, to get them on record. Good luck!

Edit - In case you can't find it, since Autodesk hid it, the submission page is http://autodesk-firstanimation.skild.com/Register.jsp, you need to register as the team submitter to get access. This is different than your normal Autodesk login.

I thought that was the issue but for some reason we can't even acess the website for submission any problems like that? Or is it just Chrome is being annoying lol

Our initial problem tonight was figuring out how to get to the submission page, we didn't read the small print on the submission registration form and thought it was the same as the normal FIRST registration. Once we got in, we were able to upload the summary, storyboard and pic - but Flash kept crashing in Chrome after the animation hit 100% - which I thought meant 100%, but evidently means 100% ready to spend a long time "Copying to server". We were discussing the virtues of simple FTP during the 2 hours we spent beating our heads against the desk... Best of luck to you!

What is the website for the submission if you don't mind posting it for me so we can get to it. You are beating your heads and we kicking around rolling chairs. Fun process huh lol

Now it seems that the adobe flash won't even download. Anyone help please

You need to register at http://autodesk-firstanimation.skild.com/Register.jsp, wait for the email confirmation, login and then follow the steps on the page. What is the problem with Flash downloading?

It keeps saying that there is an error downloading the flash for some reason

Guys make sure your computer time and date is set right since apprently autodesk uses it as your time stamp. That was our issue.

I am registering on the site linked, I typed in 348 in the Team Number box, but it is not accepted, what is the correct way to type it? :confused:

EDIT: I contacted Autodesk and they solved the issue. Our team wasn't in their database. :ahh:
