using hard drive jumpers?

not sure if this si the right place to post this, but we are running short on jumpers and so we were going to take some off spare hard drives we have (our lead mentor is the STRUT teacher so he has a room full of hard drives). i just wanted to make sure this was legal.

Re: using hard drive jumpers?

There is no reason to believe that hard drive jumpers would be illegal. I have yet to see any rules pertaining to which jumpers you can use, and such a rule would be nearly impossible to enforce anyway.

Go ahead and use them!

Re: using hard drive jumpers?

I agree, any "berg jumper" (such as those off a hard drive or motherboard) that have the correct size (0.100" spacing) will be just fine.
