Window Motor Modification - URGENT

We are putting the final touches on our robot and we noticed something we did may be deemed illigal under the rules.

On the window motor are we allowed to modify they clear plastic part of the window motor that turns (the part that plugs into the coupling) to facilitate a small gear.

For further clarification we grided off the teeth on the clear plastic

<R47> Motors and servos used on the ROBOT shall not be modified in any way, except as follows:
A. The mounting brackets and/or output shaft/interface of the motors may be modified to facilitate the physical connection of the motor to the ROBOT and actuated part.
If you only modified the output shaft, I think this covers you. I'm sure someone has probably asked about it on the Q&A forum.
