X-Stream Dashboard lag

Our team is experiencing lag on the dashboard in excess of 3 seconds. We figured out how to fix the lag on our camera but the rest of our dashboard still lags which is very odd because the files sent for the dashboard must be much smaller than the camera files. please help.

Good Luck, we are having the same problem.

Aren't you on the same team?

Anyway, I'd flip the driver station to the Diagnostics tab, clear the errors and wait for ten seconds or so. See if errors are making their way to the DS. If so, they are lagging not only the dashboard, but the robot. Concentrate on understanding them and fixing them. If there are no errors, try to determine if it is the robot or the dashboard that lags, and is it really by three seconds? Since it defaults to sampling so many outputs, it runs at only twice a seconds, so is never super-snappy. You can change that in the Team Code called Build Dashboard, especially if you cut down on the number of channels and trade that for the update rate.

we decided it was a tricky way of bumping, lol

the only errors we are receiving are occasional watchdog expirations which are normal (or so I've been told  )...

My team is also having this exact same problem.

We have, however, noticed that in addition to a few watchdog expirations we have an occasional 44061 error, which is supposed to mean that our teleop loop is taking too long to complete.
We got that one a lot before, and it prevented our robot from running, but we solved it by following Mark's procedure to change the blinky-light setting in global data. Apparently it is still hiding?

It's worth noting again that there is no lag at all when responding to joysticks, or the user messages. Is this really the most likely cause?
