Chairman's Eligible?!
 

Our team is competing in 2 regionals (Alamo and Lone Star). However, we can't figure out if we qualify to compete for Chairman's at Alamo because we were got a NASA grant for Lone Star.

Does anyone know if you are eligible to compete for chairman's more than once? and under what conditions? I can't seem to find an answer anywhere:ahh:

You are allowed to submit for Chairmans at only one regional.

I'm hoping that when you did submit Chairman's, you selected the Lone Star regional, not Alamo.

Well, looks like we'll be seeing you at Alamo though :) If you have any questions, feel free to come talk to us! Even though we're from Georgia, haha. We won Chairman's last year at the Peachtree Regional, and I and two other girls are our Chairman's/general outreach/business dedicated team so I'm sure we could help.

I hope you have worked through the confusion and know which regional you have submitted to. Good luck with your competition season. Iron Plaid shows a lot of promise and is an inspiration to many of us.

When your team (aka a representative from your team) posted your essay in STIMS, there was a drop down box where the team selected which regional they wanted to submit for Chairman's. If you are registered in STIMS, I believe you can go in and see which selection was made.

We did submit for Chaiman's! but for on STIMS when we said we were a NASA grant team, they asked which regional NASA paid for and not which we wanted to submit Chairman's for, hence the confusion.

.... We will definitely come to talk! being an all girl team, we love to meet other girls involved in FIRST.
