Yep, I have it running right now (using the NASA link). It didn't load in Media Player Classic for me, but VLC and WMP were both able to open it.

No luck on the mms feed in either VLC or WMP for me. Any ideas on dumb mistakes I might be making?

NASA feed worked fine for me. I'm using Chrome and it auto loaded it up in Real Player.

Seconding the use of RealPlayer, chose to open it in a new window as a stream and with RealPlayer it came up immediately.

If it isn't working in VLC I'd guess a firewall issue, either Windows Firewall or a router/local firewall blocking the stream. VLC bundles all the codecs it uses internally so it should be fairly resistant to differences in systems.
