2010 Bridge Problem on 2011 bot
 
So on our practice robot, we are using last years bridge and router due to the fact that the new bridge is on the shipped robot. While we are practicing driving the driver station disconnects from the robot. We are confident that there is a problem with the bridge. We have tried putting the robot on blocks and it worked perfectly meaning that there is a problem with the shaking of the cables as the robot is moving. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Actually I'd suspect power first. How is the bridge powered? Is it in the proper 12V boosted radio power supply on the PD?

The reasoning behind my theory is that in the air on blocks the motors are under much less strain, and pull much less current. High current can cause voltage fluctuations that can screw things up. Verify the connection of your bridge power system.

Make sure the powerd cord for the bridge is strain relieved using a ziptie and try hot-gluing the barrel connector to the bridge.
