Alex Epstein-1311 Rick Shanor-2415 Rick Shanor is the most deserving person for Dean's List possibly ever. I'm probably a little biased because he is my Captain, fellow driver, and friend, but seriously. This guy deserves it. He CADed 90% of our robot. Spends 60+ hours a week in the shop perfecting our robot. He embodies what FIRST is about: dedicated kids who have a real desire to learn about robotics and engineering. |

For all the finalists, I have something. The Dean's List Award is an amazing honor to have bestowed upon you. While this is a honor, it's also a responsibility; not to be taken lightly. FIRST is something that needs to expand; not only in the aspect of teams in the league, but the real impact we're having in our individual counties, districts, states, & countries in getting people excited about science, math, engineering, & technology. Two well deserving peers. :D Glad to say that Tyler will be joining our team (1983) for travel to St. Louis. It seems to be that Dean's list has brought 1778 and us even closer together (if that's possible). Maybe we'll get a Dean's list win between the two of us, it wouldn't surprise me, either one of them could take it from world champs! |
