Ann Arbor District

I know team 548 is looking forward to another great event, and is still riding the high from Waterford. Who else is planning on attending either as a volunteer or with their team?

Team 2337 will be at Ann Arbor and excited!

We want to repeat as Champions, but with some excellent teams, it'll certainly be a tough challenge. We're making some changes, and we think Ali will be a real crowd-pleaser.

I'll be there volunteering. It's my first event back home in Michigan since 2008 (and in a town I called home for 4 years), so I'm pretty excited!

You guys did a great job hosting the competition last year, as well as your robot performance last year at Skyline and this year at Kettering. Can't wait to see you guys host another great event!

As BaselA noted, we/2337 will be attending Ann Arbor, ready to defend our title!

After a better than expected performance at Waterford, I can say that 573 is more than ready to defend our title! Judging from Waterford and the list of teams, we think that Ann Arbor is going to be absolutely INSANE. Trust me, we're going to be prepared. Our robot will be ready and we'll bring the noise!

Looking forward to being pit-neighbors with you guys! It was a great experience at Waterford!

I agree! I think good things could come out of us being pit neighbors ;)

I am really excited for Ann Arbor. I think this is going to be a great preview for what people can expect for states. With most teams being on their second event, teams will have improved their minibot deployment and their scoring. This will be one of the first events where at least 24 teams will be able to score effectively. If your alliance cannot score at least 4 logos and 2 minibots you will be in a very rough spot Saturday afternoon.

I don't believe this will be 100% true.. The dynamics of the game are changing to a feeder station type of game... We started to see this at Pittsburgh and will continue to see... Meaning scoring will be a bit harder as teams try to limit opponents from steal badly thrown tubes (which oddly enough is occuring a lot in Michigan and at other regionals).. Yet I agree the winner of the event will be able to post 4 logos and and two minis, but I can deff see a team in the finals with just nailing that top two logos and two minis... 4 logos and two minis, means your right up there with the national high score... i don't see 3 to 4 alliances doing that every match.. maybe one or two...
