Ian,

I am assuming that you are using Labview for NXT (since this is where you are posting). Try looking at the "Wait for Touch" sample program here and see if it helps.

also can you tell me if the limit switch will act as a touch sensor in the nxt programming?

Mike linked to a page where you can download the actual vi. You can open it with LabVIEW and see for yourself how it works.

i cant open it. it won't let me open it because it says it is from an older version of labview.:confused:
