Re: Enigma 2075 new website
A link to your site in the first post would be extremely helpful ;)
Looks clean and simple. Matching your team's color scheme to your website doesn't seem to cause an issue in readability at all, which is always a bonus. Under "Team History", the summaries of the years are short, but not very informative. If people really want to read about your history, give them a lot of information! You might have to talk to soem alumni for that, but it's totally worth it. Example of what 2337 did for this. Do you also have pictures of your robots from over the years? It would be cool to be able to see your robots from the past few years as we read about how the team did. The "Team" page is cool, that you introduce all of your students and what they do. However, I clicked on a person expecting some sort of short bio, but the whole picture loaded. You might want to think about having students do a short bio of themselves, and link their picture to another page that includes a bio about them. No matter what, I'd remove the picture opening in the same window. Same thing goes for the "Mentors" page. For "Newsletters", you might consider adding a small amount of text underneath the links to let people know which newsletter is which. How do you section each volume? By weeks? Maybe name them something easier to identify, such as "2011 Newsletter Week Four". The "Competition" page is great. You easily show people how the game is played, where your team will be, and where they can get more information about the event. Excellent, if you ask me. There's a few things to improve on. Nice site so far though! Easy to use, and clearly understandable. |
