Hello Anthony,
I Have been programming for one and half years but have used labview for about two. I might be able to help you with your code problems.

I'm going to give you three pointers. One will be immediately useful. Another will require you to do some work finding specific helpful resources. The final one is more of a meta-resource, potentially able to assist you with locating assistance.

First: the http://www.frcmastery.com/ web site. If you're going to be using LabVIEW to program an FRC robot, this is a great place to learn how to do it.

Second: there are a dozen other FRC teams in Washington, DC. Seek them out and see if you can get some mentoring.

Finally: http://www.usfirst.org/regionalcontact.aspx can tell you how to contact your regional director, who should be able to listen to your needs and provide you with other contacts to help meet them.

Re: NEED PROGRAMMING HELP

I'm all the way out in NJ but if you have any questions feel free to email me (mllewellyn@team1676.com) or my team (programming@team1676.com) and we'll try to get back to you ASAP. If you feel that you're still confused after checking out http://frcmastery.com/, CD at large and doing whatever Alan says, I think I could probably arrange a skype session or something like that with some of my teams programmers who could give you a crash course on LabVIEW. Email or PM me if you're interested.
