Championship 2011 Hotels
 

Alright, week 3 regionals are over which means about half of the teams have qualified for Championships and are looking into travel plans.

So, where are you staying this year?

Team 3467 The Windham Windup will be at the Hyatt Regency @ St. Louis Arch.

Look forward to seeing people but don't make too much noise at roboprom! ;)

I'll be staying at my house. I can do that, because I live in St. Louis.

I don't know what my team's travel plans are, but I'm sure they're very similar. :)

I suggest that teams looking for cheap places to stay do NOT stay in East St. Louis, Illinois... It has the highest crime rate in the country, the highest violent crime rate in the country, and the highest rape rate in the country...

St. Louis and East St. Louis are NOT the same city!

So, you know, be wise as well as frugal...

For any adult volunteers looking for a hotel room, I am looking for people to share a room with. We currently have 2 people planning to stay at the Holiday Inn next to the Convention Center from Wednesday to Sunday(4 nights). The volunteer rate makes it about $500 for the 4 nights($250/person with 2 people, $167 for 3 people, $125 with 4 people).

PLEASE contact me if you're interested. I'm afraid I might not be able to afford it if it's only the two of us.
