Scouting System

Team 1318, the Issaquah Robotics Society, has created a scouting system based entirely on software. Using an Android app written by Landan Cheruka (from another FIRST team) called FRC Scouting Helper, we are able to easily input and store scouting data. I wrote a program in Java that parses this data and gives a rating to every team and has multiple sorts and plentiful data.

Any team wanting to implement this will need to have some knowledge of Java (Sorry!). Ask if you have any questions and I hope this might help!

Re: Scouting System

Tried it out, but there are 3 key problems.

Firstly, Android phones aren't particularly friendly on battery life.

Secondly, not everyone has an Android phone, though that number is growing.

Thirdly, it's easier and more gratifying to make your own hardcopy, stylized scouting sheets.

Nonetheless, for it's purposes, a fair app. Perhaps somebody will do something with the code.
