No Locomotion?

Has anyone yet heard Locomotion played at any regionals? At the two events I've been to, I didn't hear it at all. I would have thought they would have played it everywhere, at least! Is it just my bad luck, or is there something missing here...

Heard it multiple times over the L.A. webcast--maybe every hour or two.

i have been to three comps. and all but one have had locomotion played at least once. however 90% of the time i have been in the pits so it could have been more frequently played.

I heard it a bit at West Michigan I think. Might've been played at Traverse City but I was in the pits mostly so I didn't hear a lot of music due to the sound dampening.

Isn't the music for these events sub-contracted? If no one clues those guys into the importance of particular sounds, they may make up their own play lists. Repeating sound guys will have a good general idea about their audience. Locomotion is way behind the macarena and cotton-eyed joe for robotics events.

Locomotion was definitely played during the finals at Midwest

It was played multiple times at the SBPLI Long Island Regional. I believe it was mainly before the first match of each day.

It was played once in the Palmetto regional. Several of our team members were like, "Well, it's about time." You'd expect it to play more.

In Pittsburgh, they liked to play Party In The USA over and over again. :p

At Long Beach, I could have sworn it was edited to actually say "LoGomotion" Did anyone else think so, or was I just hearing things?

Little Eva's rendition was played at Detroit. We did a conga line near the main arena and stands. Grand Funk Railroad's version has yet to be heard !

I personally never heard it at BAE/GSR, but I was in the pits or close enough to them to almost never hear the music.
