Hopefully you have another method of aiming for competition, the GDC has ruled that laser pointers are not allowed.

Make sure your peg heights are correct. The outer pegs are 8" lower than the center peg.

Unfortunately peg height is limited by our ceiling. We'd cut out a hole, but the school wouldn't like that much.

As for the laser, squirrel was correct. We were only using it to double check our alignment to make sure we had consistent tests. Real robot is planned to have a scope.

From the looks of it that set-up is immpossible.. Because of how far out the tower sticks out from the lane... The second tube is almost always 50% infront of the second robot...

We'll have to double check the starting positions again, but I'm pretty sure the plan for the auto seen is to start on the left side of the field, going for middle peg first. Changing the arm heights is not difficult, the hard part was making it land on two adjacent pegs consistently. Thanks for pointing that out, though... would not be a good thing to realize on Thursday at St. Louis!

Great job! I like the concept of the double auto but i do not see it being used much in St. Louis. Most teams will probably have a well developed auto mode. Then again that is just me assuming since it is nationals haha.

With the amount of work going into it, I sure hope that it pays off! We think most of the qualifying matches won't have 3 auto-scoring robots on an alliance, so this give an extra 6 (potentially 12) points per match.

Yes, this is the practice robot. It's getting a lot of miles.
