Is anyone planning to participate in the Google Code Jam competition? If you've never heard of it, information can be found at http://code.google.com/codejam/. Registration begins at noon PST today, and it's a good excuse to practice programming!

edit: the qualification round is the day before my SAT... And I am not 18 yet, so I only can win a t shirt?


The understanding part is the hard part, after that, it seems fairly easy...

Well, it should be an interesting Friday in any case...

I'm not competing for the prizes, though a Google t-shirt would be neat.

I will be participating in this event as well. I saw this post and decided to go investigate. It'll be a challenge, but that's what I like. Does everybody get the t-shirt?

I'll try my hand at it. Unfortunately it is looking like I won't be around for the online rounds though.

No, just the top 1000 from online round 2.

That sounds decent. I might make it in there, but it all depends on the problems that they give and I think that I might be present for the online rounds. I think...
