IMPORTANT Visa Information
 

Hi All,

It is looking more and more likely that the US government is going to shut down Friday at Midnight (DC time). This means all non-essential government services will NOT be functioning. The government (last I checked...) has not released a list of these services.

If you need a visa to attend championships, please try to get it ASAP as it is not clear if you will be able to during the shut down! The shut down could last anywhere from hours to weeks, there is just no way to know.

CNN has released a list of the services that will be closed/open here only emergency visas will be processed.

If you don't already have your visa for CMP if you need one (Canadians and Mexicans don't) you're probably already screwed, as they can take weeks to process.

It depends on the type of visa you need. Australians qualify for an "electronic visa waiver" (Or something along those lines) that lasts for 2 years and gets approved almost immediately! :yikes:

It is alright, at least for about a week because the two parties were able to agree on something to settle the budget.
