"Creativity FIRST" article in SPIE Professional magazine
 

There is a 3 page article about Dean and FIRST in the April issue of SPIE Professional magazine which can be viewed here (Dean is also on the cover): http://spie.org/x47707.xml

My favorite quote from the article is: "when you take a bunch of people with intelligence, drive, and just a hint of madness, there is nothing that they cannot do." Hmmm... a possible new team name maybe - "Just a Hint of Madness"?

SPIE is an international society "advancing an interdisciplinary approach to the science and application of light". It is formerly known as the Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers and The International Society for Optical Engineering, but now just goes by "SPIE".

I am a member as I use photolithography to produce microscopic metal patterns (computer chip manufacturing processes). Any other SPIE members on ChiefDelphi?
