I am sure I will not regret this decision. If anyone needs help with anything, please come find me. I will not be driving or scouting (for the first time in my FIRST career), so I will be pretty bored at the competition. :p

I take that back. I cannot be bored at a robotics competition, 99% because of the people involved in it. :)

We will program them at the competition same way as regionals so PLEASE get it up the front table ASAP in the morning

so my last monty as a student (and last competition overall as a student) done. very sad, but the show goes on.

while monty, did not end the way i would have liked it to, especially the way we went out in the semis (long story), the event itself was fantastic as usual. the volunteers were very gracious, the event staff was helpful and they knew what they were doing. even with the field issues (we waited about 45 mins- 1hour for one of hour matches), the event was not very far off schedule, thanks to the amazing speed of the queuers (sp?) and field reset crew.

the event was great as usual, thanks to 303 and 714 for picking us, i thought our QF round was the most exciting matchup of the day, we really put on a show. a tough loss in the semis, but what can you do

i want to say congrats to 2016 who added another win to their 2011 trophy case (and beat us for the 3RD TIME in elims ;)) do it big at IRI and represent jersey well, i know you guys are gonna do awesome..

so thats my last monty as a student in the books, ill deff be back next year with 1089 or maybe volunteering :)

Team 2016 wants to thank all the volunteers at Monty Madness. We have been coming for 5 years and it is a well run top class competition. Your event allowed us to let our freshman see what it is like to be on the drive team. They had a blast and learned so much.
To team 1089 thank you. We will do our best to make NJ proud at IRI.
To all the teams at Monty best of luck in the future.
Finally to team 341 and 3142, thanks for joining our alliance. It was fun. Each competition allows us to grow as we meet new teams and new people.

Did anyone get any video of the finals? I had to leave at 12:00 so I missed everything after lunch.

Anyway, congrats to everyone and a big thank you to 1403 for putting on this fantastic event once again!

I just wanted to say thank you to Team 1403 for putting on another great event. We really do appreciate everyone that volunteers in the off-season as well.
A special thank you to Team 2016 and Team 3142 for being such great partners. We seemed to be getting stronger and stronger as the event went on!!

It was fun working together.

223 had a blast at this event, thanks for all the volunteers and people who helped put this on.
Thanks to 103 and 1279 picking us, we had a great run to the finals and you guys were great partners.
Congrats to 341, 3142, and 2016 on winning, you guys are great. I got to see 2016's bot up close and get a good look at it for the first time, that thing is absolutely beautiful.
