I know how you feel, Gael Force has had terrible luck, we are however, a great bot, we have consistent autonomous, we score 6-7 tubes per match, and we do have a 1.5 second mini bot, our alliance schedule has just not worked at all, and our roller bound the last match so we had to herd tubes, ahh well we just hope someone picks us haha

its amazing how teams can go from the top 20(us) to in the bottom 30. i hope teams look at more than just rankings when it comes to their pick-lists.

You guys don't have to try and sell your teams on here. The good teams scout. Don't worry, you'll be fine.

To be honest... posts like this, and your previous additions to this thread are more of a turn off from your team than anything else. I agree with Akash, the good teams scout, if you are good you will get scouted.

In my opinion, the posts you are making are not flattering your team. Pick Me, Pick Me may be fine to yell during the alliance selections if you feel you really must, but I doubt that people reading CD right now are in the position to read what you have written and make any useful scouting conclusions from it, aside from that fact that you think your team is really really good despite yielding lack luster results on the field.

It appears I have missed a lot while in St. Louis, and it's probably a good thing. I really hope Curie teams weren't swayed into a negative opinion of 573 due to the posts that were deleted.

I will reiterate what has already been said. Robert, ever since you registered, your posts have been extremely nonconstructive. Everything I have seen from you has been self centered and at the point of spam. You also need to improve on your grammar. This isn't Facebook, so capital letters, proper punctuation, and complete words and sentences are necessary. Seriously, think before you post next time.

despite yielding lack luster results on the field
I wouldn't call beating 2056 on Thursday and 67 on Saturday lackluster results. Our match schedule wasn't necessarily friendly and we knew we couldn't win them all. We carried our alliance in most of our matches, yet everybody should know that teams can't always win by themselves. In some matches, we gave into our partners who insisted that we execute a certain strategy, which ended up not working out. Personally, I felt that we proved that we could compete with the big dogs.

I'm not trying to say that we were the best, or even anywhere close to the best. Could we have done better? Probably, but we are still proud of our performance, and we certainly aren't a bad team just because of a few deleted posts in this forum.

With that being said, I had a good time at the Championship and competing with and against the other Curie teams.

2363 really enjoyed our first trip to the Championship. We had a great time competing against all of the teams in the Curie Division and look forward to hopefully seeing teams at other regionals and the Championship next year.

Thanks for all the help you gave us. I know I was anoying at times coming in to pester you for tools or hardware, but you guys were always willing to look for what I needed. Our charter bus didn't arrive until Thursday night. It had the tools, robot cart, and human player on it

I can't say thank you enough to 67 and 1717 for picking us. We will hopefully build on this years momentum and come out even stronger next year.

And I am thankful to 2751 for letting me tag along for the weekend. I had a great time in St. Louis this year!

And thanks again to 67 and 1717 for picking us. I know just from being around this team a lot that this meant the world. Just to be able to play with two of FIRST's premiere teams in eliminations is a real boost. And like Josh said, they will build off of this. They have done a great job improving, and I don't think that this will be an exception. So thank you for not only picking 2751 for an alliance, but for inspiring and affirming that this team is getting better and better.

We were glad to be picked, it got into the second round of picks and I started to get worried. There were still a few good teams that didn't end up getting into the elimination rounds.

Re: 2011 Curie Division

This was an amazing division this year and 1675 was proud to be a part of it. It was really great to have so many friends within the division but it was even greater to have the opportunity to make so many new ones.

Big thanks to Teams 71 and 469 (from Galileo) for lending us the parts we needed to fix and improve our minibot. Things were definitely clicking for us at the right time to reach the #9 seed and become the 8th alliance captain.

Thanks to 1678 and 245 for being a part of the Ultimate Citrus Bots alliance - one tube short (which was on and then off) in the first match and one tube/one ubertube/one penalty short in the second match - not too shabby. It was tons of fun and a pleasure to play with you guys. We were really hoping to get to play against 71/2826/103 in the finals - 71 is my former team and 2826 was our busmates for the ride to St. Louis. Maybe next year!

Lastly, congrats to 987, 968, and 51 for making it to Einstein. You guys were a great alliance and Chris' story about 51's drivers makes it even more impressive. Well done!!
