Chief Delphi - Conference at St Louis - Today’s Girls in Tomorrow’s Workplace

We are again hosting at Championships a panel discussion where girls can talk to women in industry and education about their careers, education, and experiences. Tentatively scheduled so far is:

Director Emerging Technologies, St. Louis Science Center
Defense & Government Services Chief Engineer, Boeing
VP of External Affairs, AT&T and Chair of the Missouri METS Coalition
Global Quality Assurance, Crop Protection, Monsanto
Professor of computer science at Washington University

I think this is going to be a great discussion - everyone is invited - FLL, FTC, and FRC students, mentors, family. It is scheduled as part of the robotics conferences for Thursday at 4:00 - rooms to be announced later.

If anyone is interested in being a panelist, send me a note - we may need one or two more panelists.

Today’s Girls in Tomorrow’s Workplace – A Panel Discussion on Careers in Science, Engineering,& Technology

Girls – Are you thinking about a career in science, technology, or engineering? Are you interested in how this can be a stepping stone to related careers? Come to a panel discussion with women who are working in various industries and education, such as Boeing, Monsanto, and Washington University. They will describe their career path, and reflect on the challenges and opportunities along the way. The discussion will be followed by the opportunity for you to ask questions of the women on the panel.
