Championships Easter Egg Hunt - TPD
 

Two Pencil Designs is proud to announce an Easter Egg Hunt at the Championships.

We will he hiding 36 eggs around the pits and local areas. If you happen to find one, open it up and see what you have won! After that, head over to the 1511 pit in the Newton area. There you will receive your gift.

Some of the gifts include water bottles, shirts, stickers and vinyl decals.

Just have to be sure that the eggs aren't in the way of anyone. Other than this I think it could be a pretty fun idea.

This sounds really fun! Our head mentor (my Mom) has our team for home room and she had an Easter egg hunt for them the other day. :p

Sounds like the most fun to be had amongst teams since 25 was taking hits out on people back in '05 (I still owe you Greg for putting a hit out on me by the way).

We hope that we have to hand out all of our gifts! It should be a great time to see all the people excited and looking for them.

I'll give you two hints.
Some will be hard to find.
Only certain people on your team can gain access to one of the areas.

36 eggs, there is really no way to police it but would be really nice to only receive one gift per person, they will not be camouflaged per say but some will be hard to find.

The eggs might not be camouflaged, but the pit you'll be handing them in to will be :)

By the time teams are allowed in on thursday morning. They will all be hidden.

Not asking too much here I hope, but is there any way you could post here on Chief Delphi (or the TPD facebook page) once all of the eggs are claimed or even how many had been claimed after thursday?

That way I won't look like an idiot if I go searching around on Friday (if any remain...) ::safety::

That is a great idea and we are working on it now.

We will also have the rules of the hunt and some more information running on some computer monitors in their pit space.

Please also remember to thank 1511 for allowing this to happen in their pit space. They are a great team and know will have a blast helping out.

I have included some attachments. One is the rules flier that will be put up throughout the event area. The other is going to be the check off sheet that will be hanging in the 1511 pit area. I would look at these documents closely, there are now 46 eggs total with 2 large gold eggs. The eggs are individually numbered from 1-46. The chart will show you which eggs are still left up for grabs, and what color they are.

Bacon hid eggs for a hunt last year at the NC Regional. Beware....FIRSTers are FAST! We hid over 150 and they found them all within 45 minutes. (but ours just had candy in them)
