It would cost you a 3 point penalty to cross the center lane.

Which, given the right context, is totally worth it ;)

And another 3-point Penalty if you get to the other team's Zone.

Plus a Red Card if you hit one of their robots that is in that Zone.

yea....1126 almost brought down our rack a few times while practicing, we also managed to almost do a pull-up on one of the pegs during autonomous...

as to pink, i really hope to see that work on the real field! :)

1114 in 08 was incredible.. and reliable. knocking off both balls and making at least a full lap pretty much every round, they had such an advantage going into teleop. i dont know i can say the same about this, because as reliable as this may be, you might be better off just doing two tubes (i know they can do that :P) and letting another reliable robot put up the third. of course thats something im gonna be on the lookout for during CMP's. will they even have the necessity to pull off three tubes? i guess theres only one way to find out! cant wait for thursdayyy

I don't think a Youtube video ever made me cry before. Excellent work.

So have they managed to do this awesomeness at the championship yet?

word on the street is yes, and it's been successful, but I'd like to see some youtube proof.
simply amazing, way to go 233!! (I remember when I got excited about 2 ubers by 148, week 1...)

I wonder what match is this rumored to be? I only got to watch pink once today on webcast.

A possible idea for fun in the off-season:
There should be a autonomous "style" contest at an off-season event. Judges rate the robot on how cool its autonomous is. E.g. Spins, picking first tube off ground before hanging (910 for example), and double/triple tube autonomous (bonus for going within the 15 second time limit)

From what I've heard it was only in practice..

People that don't know or do programming don't understand how hard this is. Kudos to Pink, kicking butt like usual. Hope to see you guys at Einstein.

We have been able to do it on the practice field near our pit area yesterday. During competition, we came close once but missed the grab of the 3rd tube.

We still have an assortment of issues to work out: new minibot not deploying, minor kinks in autonomous, tubes seem overinflated so adjustments on the gripper is needed. Just a little frustrating yesterday but it is how it goes.

I am hoping we can resolve them and look strong by the end of the day today (preferably sooner).

We ran it in a real match and first try it ran perfectly but we were so excited we put the 3rd tube in the wrong spot, so I'm pretty bummed. Since our gyro seems to been having a slow and painful death, or something else is causing the robot not to track straight, but it seems alright now for at least one or two since we put a new one on.
