I've got a question about the New Englands. Seating was always a difficulty we had to face here in Manchester for the previous regionals... and I know the Music Theatre can definately hold everyone who would be coming... but... is there going to b
e a seating limit? ...where only a fraction of the capacity seating will be let in? Thanks for your time!
Good luck to everyone!!!!

Probably not, based on what they did in Chicago...they let as many people in there as the fire code would allow...

Nate,

I can tell you have never been to the New England Regional (which by the way was the best house of all the regionals I have attended -- at least when it was in Manchester...).

The problem is that the New England teams bring so many fans that they exceed the fire codes!

I suppose that with fewer teams at the regional, there will be less of a problem in this area, but who knows, maybe the arena has fewer seats as well?

If anyone knows, do tell...

There are plenty of seats at the Meadows, it is used for giant music festivals and other events that seat many people, sure we won't be using the lawn seating that is meant for the summertime, but there are plenty of indoor seats available. I am positive that there will be no problem with seating and fire code issues.

I saw the picture and i see a whole bunch of seats and it
looks like a theatre type place. does it resemble other
places that have been host to regionals in the past. i was
just wondering because the sportlike atmosphere and bleacher
seating seems to make the competition a lot more exciting.
does anyone have any other information on meadows music hall?
Thank you and Good Luck

I assume that they're going to let in as many people as possible, the more fans the better! Anyway, the indoor seating at the Meadows IS pretty big, it seats 7,000. Here's a link to a shot of how it looks inside, so you can see how it'll be set up.
