Magazines

Can somebody recommend any good magazines to subscribe to?

Robot Magazine.
They actually cover FIRST in the magazine.

Re: Magazines

Thanks Ed, but I was looking for something more broad. Less specific to FIRST, but more about technology and science.

Re: Magazines

Popular Science and Popular Mechanics are always fun, so is Scientific American. I've almost got more subscriptions than time to read them.

Re: Magazines

Nuts & Volts magazine is great for electronics hobbyists.
Servo is by the same folks, but more focused on robotics.
CQ Amateur Radio is an excellent ham radio magazine - but I may be biased...
Home Shop Machinist is devoted to metalworking hobbyists.
Analog is a great science fiction magazine.

Re: Magazines

N&V and Servo have the habit of publishing multi-part project articles that span issues. That means a subscription is nearly mandatory unless you have a super-sized bookstore in your area. These magazines don't appear on smaller racks. I'm not even sure there are many libraries with subscriptions, in case your first issue arrives with part 3 of a super-intriguing project in progress.
