That would put you at 4 team members (Akash, Chris, XaulZan11); there is a 3-member limit per team. Unless you've had a member drop, Jack will have to wait for next year.

Small complaint, I've noticed that the same people end up at the top and the same people are coming up at the bottom of the draft. Are you sure it's randomizing correctly?

Another thing I noticed:
Not all the teams for each regional are included in the team pool each time. Are some of the teams purposefully left out? If so, why is that?

I agree, I had the first draft position three times in a row (Hatboro-Horsham District Tier 2, Granite State, and Smoky Mountains)

Hallry: When I run a draft, I use the program I've mentioned before. It randomizes everything. I did have one issue; I now know what that is, and I already have my fallback plan in place.

The rule of the draft is draft whoever you want. If that's your own team because it's your own team, that's your choice. Of course, that's assuming that nobody ahead of you in the draft order wants them.

For some weird reason, I have yet to be able to draft 330 except at IRI and Championships...And once it was the randomizer!

Relocating and updating the remaining schedule. Some of you may have noticed that Utah did not happen on schedule; step up to run drafts if the need is announced and we don't have to shift the schedule. We have limited opportunities to reschedule.

While I'm on the subject, I will be unavailable on the 16th (between Denver and Los Angeles, in the air), and will have unknown availability after then. A couple of notes:

1) Waivers are ongoing; there are 5 teams currently on waiver and no claims. Take a look and see if you're interested in one of the 5.

2) I won't be available to run drafts on 12/16; after that time, my availability to run drafts will be questionable at best. Step up to fill in, please--otherwise, we'll never get done.

I may be able to run drafts on days you can't make it, Basel.

As far as moving a draft or two to tomorrow, I can work with that. Probably pull from the district events drafted between 12/22 and 1/3. But can everyone else deal with it?

Edit: Seeing Ed's post, I'd say grab Lenape MAR District (12/26) and/or West Michigan or Niles MI district (12/29 or 12/30) for extra drafts tomorrow.

Unfortunately, my schedule can change on a whim, so I can't really help out with running a draft. However, just a suggestion: if needed, why don't we have drafts where each team would have to send a list in to the runner? Then the runner would just have to get the random draft positions, and go through every teams' list, assigning the corresponding picks to the team that picked them first. After that is over, teams can post on the thread if they want to swap out any picks for ones that are still left in the available pool.

By the way, I'm having a little trouble with the Draft Assistant (made sure to download the latest version); it doesn't want to automatically download team lists, though manual team lists work fine. As for everything else, it took a few tries, but I've entirely reacquainted myself with the program and it's working dandily.

I like the draft assistant program better :) Can Ed possibly switch to using that since it would make the draft position more consistent. Or if Ed could post up what he uses.

Eric or Basel (or whomever), do you think you could post a tutorial on using the FF Draft Assistant? I've opened it up to see if I could use it, but it's not very user friendly.

Actually after just playing around with the draft assistant, I think I got it. I just need to know all the event codes (guessed ga for peachtree). My above request would still be nice though.

Have you read the ReadMe file that came with it? Or do you need something a bit more?

The other thing is that it uses the frclinks event codes. http://frclinks.frclinks.com/ at the bottom of the page.

Akash, at some point, random is random (I don't know what's in the program, but given how small it is, I'd bet Ed's utility is closer to random). Besides, we have so few drafts that there are significant differences in average draft place regardless of how well randomised players are. Even if we all used the same randomiser, we wouldn't be much, if at all, closer to similar results "across the board."

So far this Fantasy FIRST season things have been relatively quiet with league members for the most part diligently attending drafts or submitting lists. Like the nice weather in Rochester in December it couldn't last and we have an explosion of Three players who have crossed into the danger zone.
B.O.T. and Team Awesome have missed the last four drafts and Frenchie461 has missed the lasts five and has been sent a warning PM.

This week's waiver has been posted!

There are 102 teams on it, three per event that has drafted to date. There are good teams. There are not-so-good teams. There are probably teams that YOU want!

So get your waiver claims in either via PM to me or at http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...threadid=98420 by Friday, 12/23, Midnight and get yourself an early Christmas present. Valid claims will include your desired team, the team you will give up to get them if your claim is the one taken on that team, and the priority of the claim in relation to your other claims. Questions can be referred to me, and I will do my best to answer them (Akash, Ed already answered yours in Utah).

I can't run a draft tonight (or maybe I just hate Lenape), nor can I run one on January 5th. These are things I absolutely can't get out of.. Duke, I wonder if you could run tonight's. If you're willing, I'll forward you the lists I have.

Well, I cleared out all the waiver claims (except for one--Shoelace, check your PMs). So, there are currently 23 teams available, dropped during the mad scramble. Go check them out if you think you're interested. If you run across a tier where Frenchie is still shown as playing in the last post, treat his teams the same as you would pool teams.

Now, should CircuitRunners not respond to the PM: Same drill, just give me some time to get the waivers up!
